Our Projects
Wesgroup Utilities has a range of projects in the feasibility, planning, design, delivery and operational phases. Committed to low- and near-zero carbon energy projects, Wesgroup Utilities focuses on district-scale thermal energy and large rooftop solar power projects.
River District Energy
RDE provides space heating and hot water to River District, a 128-acre community which will include over 9.5 million sq. ft. of residences, shops, sports facilities and schools for 18,000 residents in the decades to come.
Inlet District Energy
As part of the development of Inlet District, Wesgroup Utilities is considering building, owning and operating a low-carbon district energy system—Inlet District Energy. Subject to regulatory approval, Inlet District Energy would provide space heating, space cooling, and domestic hot water to all the residences, daycare, retail, and office facilities that will make up Inlet District.

BC’s Largest Rooftop Solar Array
Atop a 375,000 sq. ft. logistics facility, Wesgroup Utilities’ 2600 solar panels make for BC’s largest rooftop solar installation producing 1.2MW of net-metered renewable power, outlining the tenant's name and logo on the flight path into Vancouver International Airport.
